Everyone, our gorgeous lobby is now complete!!  So come walk through our large wooden doors and be greeted by the sight of fresh cut flowers on our center hall table. If you can resist the urge momentarily from going into Sage Fashions nearby shop, then continue on to the soft, plush, leather sofas and relax! Take in the warm wooded pillars with soft lighting. Want service? Well walk yourself up to our counter and simply ring the bell. I or one of our friendly staff will be happy to help you. Fabulous, sophisticated comfort. That is The Astoria.

I am very pleased to announce that Sage Fashions has come to The Astoria! Sage Pexie is the wonderful designer behind this formal fashion line. And I believe her designs will fit perfectly with what the Astoria is all about. Those visiting our ballroom for one of our many events can take a quick look in this wonderful shop and find some of the prettiest gowns. She has the most beautiful dresses but my most favorite is this one:

Changes and Growth

Change... it is a necessary thing and a sign of progress. And nowhere is that progress more evident then in this very city. New York City!! There are new sims being added along with new mainstores from businesses such as BeReal, Chichi Design, DRLife, Kiko Life and Sebis. These businesses along with the city's residents are the lifeblood of this city. This city is a vivid example of what can happen when great minds come together. When you have a vision and you MAKE that vision happen. It is like a symphony, everyone adding their own part to make this beautiful melodic sound. With every building, every new business, every new resident, this city grows. It took the founders of this city alot to get where they are today. It is success that was bought and paid for by sweat, hardwork,vision, patience and determination. Yes, change is constant in this wonderful city and may it continue to change and grow for the better.

It's Josie's Rezday!! Come one come all!!!

Today is Josie Anderton's Rez Day and she is celebrating it in style at The Astoria's grand ballroom!!  Josie you rock, your nice, friendly and obviously loved by many. Happy Happy Rez day and may you have many many more!

Golden Dreams...

We have just completed construction on the grand and luxurious Astoria Ballroom and it has truly impressed all who have walked through it's doors!  Several days ago I was showing one of our fabulous apartments to a friend, when she decided to walk up to one of the windows to take in the fabulous view of the city below. In doing so her eyes fell upon our newly constructed building with  these two huge, beautiful golden statues. They were standing like guardians at either side of the grand entrance. They posed in such a way that they commanded your attention. Almost beckoning you to come inside. I explained to her how we just finished this beautiful new ballroom. We finished our tour of the apartment and peaked inside and what we saw was truly a feast for the eyes!

Suddenly we were wrapped in a warm golden glow of luxury. Clean, golden, shiny marble floors layed before us. The floor was so shiny we could see our own reflections and walls were covered in this rich tapestry like texture. This was truly a place to see and be seen in. It is definately the perfect excuse to wear your best gown or tuxedo and dance the night away in a ballroom fit for a king.

This is yet another place for people to hang out  and dance the night away in Nederpoort's New York City.
